Feile Results

Well done to our Feile Football Team and their Mentors who represented our Club so well. Hard luck to the boys in the final, beaten by a strong Edenderry Team. Tullamore 6 pts-Edenderry 5.5pts

Tullamore Minor Footballers

Hard luck to the minor footballers last Friday.  Missing over 12 regulars who are on Offaly minor team or injured. We fielded a very young  and mostly under 15 team  but those young lads can be proud of their efforts as they kept trying till the end. Result St. Vincent’s 5.17 Tullamore  2pts

U17 Hurling League Rd.1

Tullamore 1-4

Na Fianna/Shamrocks 2-15

We were without 10 Championship starters, a very young Tullamore team largely made up of 15 year olds put in a very creditable performance in this game played in bitterly cold conditions. Tullamore were competitive throughout and a number of players staked their claim for Championship later this year. All  did very well but those who caught the eye most were Corey Hayes and Daire McDaid in defence, Johnny Nihill at midfield and Thomas Grace up front.

It was also a huge boost to have Adam Roche-Kane back in goals and he showed that he has lost none of his skills despite not having played at all for a few years. Eoin Sheahan also made a return after taking 2018 out. He too took up where he left off and put in a storming performance throughout. Oran Martin has returned to the fold too and will certainly play a big part this year.

With so many of our players not being released by Offaly County panels, Tullamore don’t expect results to always go our way in this League. However, if the players we have left put in as good a performance as last night then competition for places will soon heat up.

Tullamore Panel were: Adam Roche-Kane,William Grace,Eoin Sheahan,Kevin Leavy, Corey Hayes,Daire McDaid,Ciaran O Sullivan,Johnny Nihill, Diarmuid Egan, Oran Martin, Tristan Walsh, Thomas Grace, Ben Lowbridge, Cian Wynne.

Under 13 Footballers

Super win in the division 1  football league this evening for the under 13 footballers they showed true Tullamore grit and determination to grind out the win. They fell behind 3.1 to no score in the first ten mins but then took over for the remainder of the game to eventually win by 2 points

Final score

Tullamore 2.8 na Fianna 3.3

This  Young group is working very hard and it was great to see them get a win. A long season ahead hopefully
