'Offaly's been in a hard place recently but today we showed the famine is over, Offaly hurling is on the rise now' - Colaiste Choilm Tullamore captain Cathal O'Meara speaking after winning the Masita GAA All Ireland B Final.

O'Meara, from the Clara club, led the team to victory after extra-time against St Patrick's Maghera and says the school team has got what it takes. 

'Of course we have the hurling, they are talented lads but it's the heart and commitment the lads showed today and in all our matches. We were down many times and we came back today again'.
