Senior
Clontibret to beat Carrick easily,
Ballybay to beat Currin by one or two points, Currin will be well up for it but think they will just fall short,
Latton to beat Magheracloone, very tight game, Latton by 2 with home advantage,
Scotstown to beat Harps easily,
Blayney to beat Truagh by 6 points. Butsy to start full forward. Playing great stuff there for the reserves.

Intermediate
Corduff to beat Inniskeen by the narrowest margins, Corduff will be a real threat in Intermediate this year.
Donaghmoyne to beat Toome by 6/7 points, Reilly will be a big boost back for Toome but still rely heavily on Gavin Flanagan as a scoring threat.
Aughnamullen to beat Rockcorry, this is a tight one but the return of both Flanagans, Colm and Aidan may be the differance alonside Pete Dooney and Sean Sheridan.
Tyholland to beat Seans by 3 or 4.

Any other views on these games lads and lassies...

hutto, Carrick played very well last night! There work rate and tackling was immense. Clontibret looked like a team who were poorly organized and didn't have much heart! Conor Mc Manus, when operating a wing forward went through the motions and let everybody else do the work. On another note, Mark Downey, Peter O Hanlon and Conor Mc Enaney where playing, I thought there was talk that these players where emigrating, if not with a bit more training(and maybe Andy Callan back), I can see use being there at the business end of the season. For Clontibret I think its time we did a lot of soul searching and the players realized there not as good as they thought.

Hello Frost, glad to hear Carrick played well and got a win as they have 3 very hard matches to start with.Think Marks surpose to be going away soon,in Stefan White they have a very good manager . I was laughing a few weeks ago when Monaghan supporters were saying the county team will be all right when Conor comes back, dont know if he will ever be as good as in 2007.

hutto, In all fairness Conor is only back from an operation and was his first competitive game in a long time. In saying that, it was the other players I was more disappointed with, Vincent, Dessie, Rodney and Paul Mc Guigan! I seen Sean Downey in the stand in crutches, how long is he out for?
