Monaghan far from finished, Banty insists

Monaghan manager Seamus McEnaney
Seamus McEnaney is adamant that there is "plenty left" in the current Monaghan team, despite their failure to deliver championship silverware during his six years at the helm.
Banty has yet to decide whether or not to seek another term as manager, but one thing he is certain of is that the Farney County are far from finished.
"There are a lot of things I'll have to consider - the group of players, what's best for Monaghan football, the county board, my family. We're only talking five days after going out of the championship," he said in the Irish News.
"I always felt that I would know when the time was right to go. If Monaghan weren't making progress, it was time to go. In my opinion, 2010 has been Monaghan's best year in 20-odd years.
"People that mightn't follow their football that closely probably think it was a disastrous year, but I feel Monaghan played their best football in 2010 for a long time, apart from the last 40 minutes against Tyrone. You can't judge Monaghan on 40 minutes against Tyrone.
"Regardless of my position, there is plenty left in this team."
McEnaney, whose name has been linked with the Laois vacancy this week, has also refused to rule out managing another inter-county team in the future.
"I've really enjoyed the inter-county management scene and I'm going to manage county teams or a county team going forward," he added.
