Lotto: The Lotto was held on Sunday night last the numbers drawn were 6,16,18 & 27 there was no winner. Jackpot next week is €8,700.

We would like to thank all the patrons who support the Lotto each week it is very much appreciated as at present it is the clubs only source of income and any monies received is most welcome. Anyone wishing to purchase some tickets they can call into either Mary Duffys Shop, Shantonagh Post Office or any of our young sellers who are going around our community.

 

Social Centre: Our Social Centre is hoping to open its doors on Sunday 19th July there will be more details in next weeks issue.

 

Seniors: The Senior team is preparing well for return to play in the Junior Championship against Toome on Saturday 1st August in Aughnamullen at 7pm.

 

Best Wishes: Best wishes is extended to Ryan Connolly who received a nasty facial injury recently and we hope to see Ryan back on the field in the near future.

 

U17: The U17 are training at the minute the first game is fixed for Friday 17th July at home to Rock Sarsfields at 7.30pm

 

U15: The U15 are also training at present and play their first game on Thursday 23rd July away to Inniskeen at 7.30pm

 

U13: Training is also continuing at present. This year the club has 2 teams for the first time at competitive level with the first game on Saturday 18th July at home to Killanny at 2.30pm

 

Fundraiser: Local lotto seller and good supporter Patrick Geoghegan fundraising initiative is ongoing at present in the hope of raising some funds for the Solas Unit at St Oliver Plunkett NS Loughmourne which deals with local autistic children a very worthwhile cause. At present Patrick has become the new  "Grizzly Adams" of the community and it is said his family do not recognise him at present so please support this fundraiser. Congratulations: Congratulations is extended to Jack & Maggie Hanley(nee Deery) on the birth of a new baby boy recently.
