Charlestown GAA to honour Colm Horkan with new memorial pitch and walkway

A new memorial pitch and walkway is being planned at the Charlestown GAA grounds to honour their late clubman Colm Horkan
Detective Garda Colm Horkan died in the line of duty last month and he will be forever remembered in his native Charlestown.
It's hoped that works on developing the new facilities at the Mayo GAA club will get underway later this year and be completed by 2023.
A former player and selector, Colm was a devoted member of Charlestown GAA and the Horkan family have a long association with the club.
