Corduff Gaels Lotto:

The weekly Lotto draw took place last Sunday 7th April in John Joe’s with a  jackpot worth €4,500. There was no winner of the jackpot and the numbers drawn were 5, 7, 15 and 22.

Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners Mark Treanor, Sean Ward, Benny Gartlan, Tommy McKeon and Patrick Hand. This week’s draw takes place in The Dugout on Sunday 14th April with a  jackpot of €4,600. The Lotto will be on sale in usual outlets so your continued support would be appreciated.

Monaghan Electric Intermediate League ;

Corduff Gaels registered their first win of the 2019 IFL on Sunday when they defeated Killanny on home soil in Corduff. Killanny opened stronger going 4 points up before Corduff opened their tally with a point which was quickly followed by a super goal levelling matters for the first time. However Killanny responded with a goal of their own going ahead once again. By the interval Killanny held a 3 point advantage. Corduff were the more dominant side after the interval and by the 9th minute after the restart the sides were level again. Both sides continued to trade points until the final whistle by which time Corduff had enough done to win by a 2 point margin. Congratulations to the team and management on their first win of the season. This Saturday April 13th Corduff are at home again, this time to Tyholland at 7pm and then on Saturday 27th April Corduff  is away  to Donaghmoyne which is also at 7pm.

Friends of Carrickmacross Cancer Society Charity Football Match:

Every year the Friends of Carrickmacross Cancer Society host a number of events to raise money for this great worthy cause. One of the events is the Annual Charity Football Match which sees the return of former greats of the game from not only Corduff but neighbouring clubs in both Cavan and Monaghan and beyond. Please note change of date. Due to a full round of league fixtures this weekend the match has been rescheduled to Friday 10th May at 7;30pm. This event is kindly sponsored by O’Rourke Oil. Youth Fixtures:

This evening Thursday 11th  April the U15s are at away to Latton in the Manor Farm U15 League at 6:45pm. On Saturday the U13s return to action in Aughnamullen at 12:00pm.

 

Ladies Fixtures:

U14 Championship: The U14 Ladies played Killeevan on Tuesday in the championship final. Report to follow.

U16 League: Corduff are away to Inniskeen this Monday 15th April.

Division 2 League: Round 2 is on Saturday 20th April when Corduff welcome Scotstown.
