Fintan Kelly has been cleared to line out for Monaghan against neighbours Cavan on May 18th.

The Monaghan defender was shown a straight red card by referee Derek O’Mahoney six minutes into the second half of the Farney County’s narrow Division One defeat to Mayo in Castlebar on March 24th.

The Clones clubman was charged by the Central Competitions Control Committee with “striking with elbow” but opted to take his case to the Central Hearings Committee, which has found the alleged fraction “not proven” and ordered Kelly’s record to be amended accordingly.
