As this is the last lotto of 2018 the club would like to thank all those who helped out with the Lotto this year all the patrons who bought envelopes every week and especially all the young lotto sellers and their parents your help is invaluable and thanks to all.

The next lotto takes place on the weekend of the 13th January 2019 where the jackpot will be €2100.

Membership: Membership is now due for the new year. Anyone using any of the facilities around the GAA grounds i.e. Walking Track, Facilities in the Handball & Squash Alleys, and anyone who participates in any activities in the hall must be members of the club. Membership rates are as follows Single Membership €30, Membership for 2 people in 1 Family €55. Membership for Adult player is €50. Membership can be paid to Club Treasurers Debbie Mc Ardle or Rosemary Johnston.

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Tommy Murtagh Tullyrain on the death of his sister in law Nancy Murtagh Athlone may god have mercy on her soul.

Blood Donation Clinic: There is a blood donation clinic in Ballybay Community College on this Sunday the 23rd December from 11am-3pm. Please support this worthwhile cause

Annual Poker Classic: The Annual Poker Classic takes place on Saturday 19th January 2019 commencing at 7pm. Admission is €50 with buyins and top ups valued at €20. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase a ticket for Christmas. While on this Friday night the final league game of the poker for 2018 will take place with hot food served for any participants.

Thank You: A massive thank you is extended to the people who supported the club on Sunday last when Santa Claus arrived to Aughnamullen GAA last Sunday. To the organising committee who helped to make it a wonderful success. To Hannah Mooney our wonderful Monaghan Rose of Tralee who helped out Santa on the day, to all the children and their parents who turned up on the day and finally to Santa Claus himself. This indeed was a wonderful days entertainment.

Social Centre: There are a number of events coming up in the Community Centre in the coming weeks. This Saturday the final of the Pool Competition between Dominic Swinburne & Lionel Mc Connell at 9.30pm best of luck to both men. Whilst on Friday 28th December the Christmas Draw will take place where a number of lovely prizes will be given out.

10k Fun Run: The 14th 10k fun run takes place on St Stephen's Day the 26th of December. Proceeds from this day are in aid of St Mary's Hospital Castleblayney. The run starts at 10.30am. Please support this event.

Monaghan GAA Yearbook: The Monaghan GAA yearbook is currently on sale in all retail outlets for only €10. An ideal Christmas present for any Supporter of Monaghan GAA where you can remind yourself of all the activities which happened over the last 12 months.

Merry Christmas: Aughnamullen GAA would like to wish all our club members, supporters and anyone else who assisted the club in 2018 a very happy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year. Here is hoping for a fantastic 2019
