Club AGM

A very successful and professional AGM was held last Friday evening in Treacys Hotel. Comprehensive reports were delivered by our Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Juvenile secretary and Development committee. Whilst 2018 did not turn out the way we envisaged there are many reasons why we can be very optimistic about 2019. Our new temporary training facility will hopefully be ready for March time, our Senior management team of James Kierans, Frankie Doogan and Paul Jones is in place along with our trainer Jody Clarke. Our Juvenile committee will also focus on the development of the younger age groups and continue the good work being done at that level. Officers elected on the night were Chairman: Francie Jones, Vice Chairman: Donal Kindlon, Secretary: Brian Busby, Asst Secretary: Kevin Kelly, Treasurer: Mary Cosgrove, Asst Treasurer: Paul Matthews, PRO: Orla Hughes, Asst PRO: Jim McMahon, Health and Safety Officer: Declan Farrelly, Insurance Officer: Ronan Freeman, Coaching and Development officer: Catherine Kelly, Registrar: Sean Egan, Executive members: Fintan Kindlon, Bernard Freeman, Mark Gilsenan, Sean Fitzsimons and Johnny Smith.

Rory’s Stories

Our last event of year takes place this Friday night in Treacys Hotel at 8pm. We look forward to welcoming Facebook and Twitter legend Rorys Stories to Magheracloone. This will definitely be a night to remember. This is a free event as we would like to thank all our supporters near and far for looking after us over the past twelve months and especially all the support and good wishes we received at the time of the pitch collapse.

U6 Academy

Our U6 Academy came to a close last Saturday for 2018 but we look forward to having the crew back in 2019. Thank you to all the juvenile coaches for their continued work during the winter months.
