Ulster Club Championship – All roads lead to Kildallon GAA Grounds in Ballyconnell Co Cavan this Saturday
where our Senior team take on Cavan Champions Drumlane in the Ulster Junior Championship First Round.
Throw in time is 14.30. Come out and support the team and management. There is still a small number of flags
in Mc Mahons and Centra so pick them up either before or on your journey on Saturday.
Well done to our U9 heroes who won the cup in the tournament in Scotstown last Saturday. Our panel showed
great skill throughout the tournament and were deserving winners. Congratulations to Morgan Hackett who
was awarded Man of the Match for his performance in the final game, well deserved Morgan, well done.
Thanks to Scotstown for the invite to the excellent tournament and congratulation to the senior team on their
county win on Sunday past. On Sunday the U9 panel travelled to Keady to take part in their annual
tournament. Well done to all our players on the day who played their hearts out in all the matches. The season
ended for them in the cup semi-final when they were beaten to Keady. Thanks to Keady GFC for the kind
invitation to the tournament.
U-17 were narrowly beaten by Aughnamullen on Sunday last. There is still a chance to make the semi-finals of
the league so training continues for the team.
Better Coaches = Better Players. The following courses will be held shortly. Foundation Course - Fri 23rd/Sat
24th November (Can be hosted in a Club if requested). Award 1 Child & Youth/Adult Fri 30th/Sat 1st December
(Hosted in Cloghan).The purpose of this course is to raise the standards of coaching within the county and
therefore assisting our young players every opportunity to reach their potential. Additionally this course
will provide coaches with an opportunity to further develop their knowledge / understanding in modern
coaching practices and techniques. This is a great opportunity for clubs to invest in their coaches. Coaches will
no doubt benefit from the course and your club / players with reap the rewards long term. Anyone wishing to
