Lotto: There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €2,000. The numbers drawn were 5, 15, 16 and 25. Monaghan Electrical IFL Results:
Corduff V Blackhill: It was one way traffic as Corduff dominated play from the throw in going ahead 3-07 to
0-03 at the interval. Corduff's dominance continued after the restart and despite the fact that Blackhill had a better second half Corduff were convincing winners registering 4-12 to 0-08.
Corduff V Tyholland: In comparison to the Blackhill match this was a much closer encounter . Corduff were ahead 0-06 to 0-02 by the 15th minute but Tyholland launched a comeback and a goal in the 18th minute levelled matters 0-06 to 1-06 with Tyholland ahead by a point at the interval 0-06 to 1-04. The sides were level twice during the second half with a second goal from Tyholland putting them ahead in the 55th minute but Corduff dug deep earning a draw by the final whistle on a score of 0-13 to 2-07.
Fixtures: Intermediate and Junior Championship:
Mc Elvaney's Waste and Recycling Intermediate Championship: Aughnamullen is the venue for Round 1A of the Intermediate Championship between south Monaghan teams Corduff and Killanny. Best wishes to the team and management team of Raymond Byrne, Martin Mills, Gerry Mee and Brendan McEnaney. We urge all Corduff supporters to make the short trip to Aughnamullen to show your support. Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship: Corduff junior team is back in action this Sunday in Threemilehouse at 6;15pm. Opponents not known at time of going to print as it will be the loser of Emyvale V Clones played yesterday. Once again good luck to everyone involved and please show your support.
U15 Division 3 Shield Final : The U15 county champions are in action this evening Thursday 23th in the U15 League Shield Final against Inniskeen in Magheracloone @ 7pm. Please come along and support the team and management as they hope to bring more silverware to Corduff.
