Run to Remember Gary Askin: A 5K Walk/Run in memory of the late Gary Askin will take place on Friday August 17th, starting at Emyvale GAA Grounds, Tully at 7.30pm sharp and finishing there also. All donations on the day in aid of local charities and the Jack & Jill Foundation. Light refreshments served afterwards. Runners, joggers, walkers/people of all ages welcome.

Our county journey ended for both our senior and minor teams at the weekend. What a summer of football they put on show!! Both teams provided us with entertaining football and they can be very proud of their achievements. Well done to our club players Ryan and Karl with their displays. Karl unfortunately suffered an injury in the minor game and had to be withdrawn. All in Emyvale wish Karl a speedy recovery and we hope to see him grace the field soon.

 

Attention now returns to club action and the Senior team are out on Wednesday next 22nd August at 20.00 in Castleblayney where they take on Clones in the Championship. Good luck to all involved.

 

Training continues every Friday evening in Tully grounds from 6.50 -8pm for U7 and U9.

 

U11 training on Thursday evening at 7-8.15. The final league match takes place on Saturday in Oram at 12pm. Good luck to everyone involved.

 

U13 training continues every Monday and Wednesday evening 7-8.15pm.

 

U-15 training continues. A good win in the shield semi-final over Cremartin means that the team will play Monaghan Harps in the Shield Final. Good luck to team and management.

 

U-17 training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays

 

U-18 are in action this Friday 17th vs Doohamlet in the quarter final of the championship in Doohamlet. Throw in 6.45pm. Best of luck to team and management.

 

Emyvale GAA will run its annual Tully Football camp w/c Monday 20th August until Friday 24th

August. Registration forms have been distributed by mentors and coaches, please return as soon as

possible.
