"Let them at it, it does us no harm"

Darren Hughes says the notion of Monaghan being a 'one-man team' has done them no harm over the years.
Malachy O'Rourke's side take on Tyrone tomorrow (throw-in 3.30pm) in their first All-Ireland SFC semi-final in three decades at Croke Park, where Conor McManus - scorer of 2-40 so far this summer - will be expected to lead the Farney charge once more.
However, Hughes knows that the perception of Monaghan being unable to get going without their star forward catching firing is wide off the mark.
"Let them write away, we know what's happening inside the camp," he told the Irish Daily Mirror.
"You look back through the stats, we've had 10 or 11 scorers a lot of the days we go out. Lazy journalism again it is, let them at it, it does us no harm.
"Everyone thinks we're a one-man team."
On last weekend's double scores victory over Galway in Salthill, the Scotstown midfielder added: "We were cock-sure going to Galway we were going to win. We were 100 per cent sure, we had the work done."
