David Bell gets in his shot for Meath during the Gerry Reilly Cup final against Cavan at Millbrook

St Colmcilles star David Bell has been named at full forward on the DkIT 2018 Lennon Cup All-Star team. The team comprised of the best players on the Louth Colleges scene. 

THE Argus and Drogheda Independent teamed up with DkIT GAA Club to pick the Best XV.

Ten schools took part in the competition, Colaiste Chu Chulainn, Ardee Community School, Scoil Uí Mhuiri Dunleer, Bush Post Primary, St Marys Drogheda, Colaiste Rís, St Marys Dundalk, De la Salle, St Josephs Drogheda, St Olivers/Ballymackenny

On line voting accounted for 50 per cent of the overall voting, while a panel of judges made up the other 50 per cent.

The team were presented will specially commissioned jerseys at a function last night in DkIT.

Bell was a key member of the Meath team that won the Leinster minor football championship title and also helped the Royals to a Gerry Reilly Cup final win over Cavan in Millbrook.

On the club front Bell was one of the stars as St Colmcilles reached the Division 1 minor league and championship finals.
