Scoil Naomh Eoin, An Uaimh were crowned Cumann na mBunscol Boys Division 2/3 Shield champions in this low scoring but highly entertaining final at Pairc Tailteann.

Points from Conor Harding, Matthew Frazer and Kevin Janinski gave the winners a 0-3 to 0-0 interval lead. By the 10th minute of the second half Longwood had the gap narrowed to one with a brace of points from team captain Ben McLoughlin. The Navan school weathered the storm and scores from Harding and Ross Harford sealed a hard fought win.
