Finegan leads St Patricks to first title

A five star display from Molly Finnegan gave St Patricks NS Slane their first Allianz Meath Cumann Na mBunscol girls football title.

Midfielders Molly Finegan and Julianne Mahon accounted for all the winners scores while Eve Mooney and Aoife O'Shea raised the six flags for a gallant Longwood side.

The opening half was a straight shootout between Finegan and Mooney as Slane led at the break 0-4 to 0-3.

The games only goal arrived on the 12th minute of the sec ond half. After the game St. Pats captain Sophie Bonallie received the Girls Division 2/3 Shield to the delight of the large Slane following.
