Louth to host Meath in SF Challenge at opening of new St Oliver Plunketts GAA clubhouse

Louth will host neighbours Meath in an SF Challenge on Sunday, November 25 as part of the official opening of the new St Oliver Plunketts GAA clubhouse.

A big crowd is expected at the St Oliver Plunketts GAA grounds, which is based in Mell, Drogheda, for what will be Wayne Kierans first competitive game in charge of the Wee County's senior footballers.

St Oliver Plunketts clubman Conor Early will be a part of the Louth squad.

Andy McEntee's Royals will aim to build on their Michael Reynolds Memorial Cup (Oldcastle GFC) victory over Leitrim in Millbrook last Sunday.

Both managers have brought in new players and will be looking to run the rule over them in preparation for the O'Byrne Cup which begins on Saturday, December 8.

The game throws-in at 2pm and will be preceded by the official opening of the new clubhouse at 12noon.

GAA President John Horan will be in attendance while the Sam Maguire Cup is set to be on display.
