Absolutely magnificent performance! Gav McGowan and Darragh Kelly were fantastic as were the three O'Hanrahan's. Fair play to all the players involved, be they Ratoath, 'Ha or Pats. Think they can give Senior a good rattle.

Ratoath far superior team all over the pitch. Kilskyre struggled for scores and really couldn't get any ball in midfield in the second half. Ratoath got scores far easier and were on top all over the pitch.
If they can keep that team together they will have no worries about relegation next year.

Ratoath are a breath of fresh air to the senior hurling championship in Meath.

It's been debated here before but there are too many senior teams in the county. Probably best served with two teams of 5 that are seeded and direct qualification to semi finals. For the next two years seed the groups and the bottom team of each group should be relegated with just one team coming up to result in two groups of 5.

This would make for a more even SHC and a more competitive IHC.

Congrats to Ratoath,

In my opinion they played the best hurling of all the 4 teams in Navan yesterday. The distribution into McGowan was as good as you'd see. Expect them to more than hold their own in senior next year, could well see them in quarter or semi final if the football doesn't hinder them.
