Christmas

(Oldest Posts First)

The season of peace and goodwill is upon us as is the dawning of a new year, we are at times an emotional bunch on this forum, I don't think any other county forum stirs such feisty debate and engagement as this one. We will agree, disagree, get the hump, fire a few missiles and occasionally come close to firing the phone/iPad/laptop out the window but Meath people are an opinionated and passionate sort, and thank God for it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Royals and may we look forward to seeing some success, and each other, in Pairc Tailteann and beyond in 2019.

Well said. I'd 100% agree with you. For at least the season I think we can all take on board each other's wishes. My wish for yourself and all on the forum is to have a happy healthy and safe Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all on the forum. 2018 was a tough year for our seniors but our 20's had a win over the All Ireland champs, our minors won leinster and were within 20 minutes of an AI final and our 16's won Gerry Reilly for the first time in 10 years. So loads to be excited about for 2019

Happy Christmas and New Year royaldunne to you and your family and all on the Meath Forum.. See you for the battle of Navan in the league if not in the OB Cup.
On a negative note I can't understand why anyone would give your Christmas wishes a thumb down. I made the same point on the National Forum where it happened a few times as well. Ba Humbug to them.

And the same to you lillywhite. Hopefully a good game when we meet. Ahh I give up on the thumbs thing. Tbh I think it dilutes the forum and turns it into a popularity thing rather than a opinion bas d forum. Anyway that's beside the point. Have a great Christmas and new year to you and your family.
