Choice Of Grounds For Games

SFC
Donaghmore/Ashbourne v St Peters Dunboyne Saturday 28/7/18 19.00pm Group A Dunsany Referee

Intrigued that this game is being played in Dunsany, surely this would have been better suited to Ratoath a senior club located nicely between both teams. It seems to me that Ratoath get very few championship games.

Discuss....

Dunsany a good venue and is not to far from either, there have often been far worse choices than that

Agreed . Dunsany absolutely fine. Good dressing rooms loads of parking a decent pitch and a bar and to top it off it's the one of the worst places I've been to for a signal on ur phone so people can just enjoy the match without being glued to their phone.

Not saying Dunsany not a good ground
But to be fair this game should have been in Ratoath
A senior club usually gets senior games
Ratoath is deffo been shunned by CB no matter what way you carve it up

By your logic Trim (Intermediate) should not get Senior games.

Playing surface is the most important aspect for players and it is not great. Other aspects are very good dressing, parking

Ah I think this is looking for something wrong when there is not. Dunsany great facilitys not too far from either ,, ok from center point rathoath would be better but not so many games are done that way now, an I'm sure dunsany gaa will really appreciate hosting the game and do a great job of it
