As someone who had connections to the panel, it has been an absolute pleasure following this team all year. They certainly restored pride in the county jersey, and gave us a timely fillip when winning Leinster and how they did it - fair play to every single one of them. However, we cant have any complaints about last nights result, Tyrone were the better team and there was no shame in being beaten given that. They had had their gameplan perfected to a tee and unfortunately our lads had difficulty dealing with it. The speed of their attack and discipline and intensity when tackling was very impressive - something which is obviously being instilled in all Tyrone teams. They were that bit stronger than us in many areas but our lads never gave up and fought to the very end. I think this was recognised by the huge ovation they got when leaving the field from the Meath support.

Ah don't be so hard on true ( or false from what I hear ) I'd hate to see him stop posting. He's great gas , sure of course he has all the answers , apparantley he knows how to win non competitive blitzes which in his book is harder than winning a Leinster title. Wasn't at the match unfortunately , heard it just wasn't our night from start to finish. Well done to all those kids and their mentors on winning Leinster though. Great achievement and something they will all always remember. Might be the start of something positive for the county. Hope the 16s step up next year and repeat the leinster and hopefully go a step further.

Well said sir. You should be very proud of their achievements , congratulate whoever it is you're connected to. No matter what they have Leinster and hopefully they will go on to represent the County again and give us all another badly needed lift in the not too distant future.

That's good to hear, these young players need encouragement from supporters not negativity, indeed all our players at all levels need encouragement, well done to all associated with the U17's, valuable experiences gained this year for these young footballers, I certainly look forward to 2018 with optimism for our underage teams

Very well said. Of course the result was disappointing, for all concerned including players and management.
However this can not over shadow the achievements this year. Well done to one and all.

I reckon Tyrone will win final by 10 or so points and that will show just how good the Meath lads were
