Replying To royaldunne:  "Is this crap still going on? F the clubs, the vast majority in Meath are crap anyway as has been seen in Leinster since Dunboyne won it, the annual embarrassment of the Meath senior championship winner been humiliated by a club with less Tha a catchment of a few hundred is one we can do without thank you very much. Anyone ask themselves why the only two players who would walk onto any county team in country are from intermediate clubs? (1 be senior next year) there's your answer, Andy McEntee has picked the best in county, over 60 players tried out now be it through injury or not been good enough not one that is on Meath team is non deserving and those who are not are not deserving to be on team either. End of discussion. Get behind your county, and don't give a rats ass if they from your most hated club rival, we are all Meath, not navan kells or whatever, cop on and support county. And forget about clubs they from.

You're the only one here criticising our manager for apparently not picking enough north Meath men and intimating that it's only because he's from south Meath (y'know, despite him living in Nobber in the past)."
Show me where I said all these things bout manager

I was talking to some lad who was from the Duleek/Bellewstown club during the match on Sunday and he turned around and said to me that he hated the Cilles more than he hated Louth. I find this astonishing that you could hate a club in your county more than a neighbouring County. Wee get this in Louth the whole time with this Drogheda/South Louth and Dundalk/North Louth civil war. The great 1957 Louth team had most of its players from the Ardee/Mid Louth area.

O'Caoileann is navan and Forde would have been guaranteed starter.....tobin came on and Nash would more then Likely have started if he was still around......what do yee want. We've had 2 club men even asked to go for trials in the last 20 years....now they both made it but if they hadn't I wouldn't have said it was biased towards north meath. Ridiculous thread really

Its mad stuff Ollie. Honestly its getting ridiculous at this stage. It will ruin Meath football, for what? Stupid parish pump nonsense. Boylan faced similar problems when he took over, people telling him he had to pick this player or that player because he from a certain club, nothing got to do with if je was any good or not, it was geography, now in his book sean said the first thing he did was look at every player, he didn't care if they were from Ballinabrackey, bettystown, Ashbourne, or Oldcastle, he picked them on their abilities and what they would bring to the team. Andy McEntee is doing the same thing, and this resistance to him that not enough navan or north Meath players is pure nonsense, develop better players in these clubs and they will be on team, Andy does not pick lads based on clubs, he picks them based on their ability. Fact.

Pretty dum sentence in your post even by your standards. What were you smoking at the match-it appears to not have worn off yet-or was it a contaminated snackbox!!
