This year will be a great foundation. By andys 3rd year id expect us to be at business end of championship . We have the management, ok we don't have the players of the past quality barring 4/5 . However I feel we can become a hard to beat team, and one that plays above their individual strength as a strong unified team.

I'm called "hyping up" team , and the best one is ill be left with egg on my face, I don't give a rats ### what I have in my face , by Jesus I will back this team with the same enthusiasm and loyalty as I have every other one. I wont dare think we can be beat. Andy has the right attitude, lets all everyone get behind him and the players, I dont care if you loved mod, time has moved on, get behind the county team, don't be back biting about them (31 other counties will do enough of that) grab the flags, or whatever from the attic and lets start a journey as if we will win all Ireland. Jesus I cant wait for June the 4th.
HON the Royal"
Your not a hyping up team , however on a number of occasions you do only see the populace thoughts , cherry blossom side of it , and tend to only take the positives and forget the details , i.e. Andy is a good Manager proven with Boden et al , however at Minor level he did not win anything , Dublin blew him away in Leinster , and at All Ireland stage . Egg on face refers to the guys at COB level that make decisions to axe good Coaches and Coaching teams , and parachute in the AI persons , not the people on here unless of course they are one and the same possible Freudian slip there.
So don't get you knickers in a twist . unless you were one of the unknowledgeable CoB et als that made the decisions that ruined 3 age groups of Meath Footballers from 2015-2017.

Looking forward to the championship now, I be disappointed if we don't make the Leinster final and have a good crack at the dubs, does anyone know how the recent challenge game against mayo went

To the best of my knowledge they lost by 4 but could be wrong. No idea of line ups or anything.

Heard it was 2/3 but it could have been 22/23. The only thing was cillian oconnor was supposed to have said after match Meath would be a test for anyone in summer and may have a long summer.

That doesn't really make sense if Mayo could have won by 22 points and O'Connor is saying Meath played well.

It was tongue in cheek comment. I should have put a smiley face afterwards. It was a narrow defeat
