Drumconrath 2-16 St Pauls 1-2

Drumconrath had things pretty much their own way as they travelled the lenght of the County for this A League game against St Pauls at Pace.

Drumconrath led 0-7 to 0-1 at the break. The highlight being Peter Tighes second ever score for the Reds. He had a point acredited to him in 2015 but there was always a doubt surrounding whether it was allowed or not.

The  home side converted a penalty early in the 2nd half but two Daniel Byrne goals and a string of points seen the points heading to North Meath long before the Final whistle.

Aidan Tighe made a welcome return and played well as Jamie Myles, Peter and Paul Tighe along with top scorer Byrne catching the eye.
