A poor night for football but plenty of high scores. Last years Division 1 winners Dunshaughlin got off to a winning start. Donaghmore Ashbourne were too strong for senior finalists Na Fianna. St Colmcilles got the perfect start to life in Division 1 while Meath Hill surprised Trim in Division 2.
