U21 FC: Fine performance from Nobber

Nobber turned in a fine performance to beat a fancied St Colmcilles side at Duleek on Sunday morning.

Nobber 1-12 St Colmcilles 1-4

Dale Larkin opened the scoring for Nobber in the second minute and subsequently they were never headed holding St Colmcilles to just one score during the opening half
Further points in this half from Karl Casserly (3), Fiachra McEntee and Dean Halpin saw Nobber lead comfortably at the break 0-6 to 0-1.

Colmcilles got back in to the game  with a goal from the  penalty spot.  Nobber showed the greater hunger and stretched their lead with further points from James Halpin (2), Fiachra McEntee, Karl Casserly and Sean Meade. What ever chance the Cilles had were gone when a 45 metre free in the 52nd from Casserly found its way to the net to see Nobber run out convincing winners. 

Best for Nobber were Karl Casserly, Sean Meade, Fiachra McEntee, Stephen O'Brien, James Halpin and Eanna Fagan.
