St Vincent's got back to winning ways with a hard fought victory away to Moylagh.

St Vincent's were first to get on the score board through Cathal Byrne. Moylagh responded with two points before Paddy Arnold leveled it again after fifteen minutes. Moylagh were next to score but two points from the boot of Tommy Field left the Ardcath men leading by a point at half time

Moylagh started the second half strongly with three unanswered scores including a goal to give them a four point lead. St Vincent's then moved Paddy Arnold into the full forward line and Tommy Field out to midfield. This switch had an immediate effect with Paddy Arnold getting his second point of the game. A minute later Tommy Field passed the ball into Paddy Arnold who smashed the ball into the back of the net to level the game again. Moylagh responded with a point but this was to be the final time they would have the lead. Two fisted goals in four minutes from Robbie Lynch and Paddy Muldowny put St Vincent's back in front. Moylagh got the next point before Tommy Field put six points between the teams with two points. Moylagh finished the game strongly with the final three points of the game. But as the saying goes goals win games.
