McNally, Mick
June 04, 2009
The club would like to convey its deepest sympathies to the family of the late Mick McNally Snr who passed away over the long weekend. Johnstownbridge GFC will join in the mourning of their President who was a true servant and supporter of the 'Bridge. He was there at the very beginning managing the team way back in 1948 and Mick would go on to hold just about every office in the club and the McNally name would become synonymous with Johnstownbridge as a result.
His legacy can be seen today as his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have carried on his love of the GAA. May he rest in peace.
Leinster Leader, 4th June 2009
