The funeral arrangements for Darren Connell have been confirmed.
The remains of the young Oldcastle and Meath minor footballer, who died suddenly on Wednesday, will repose at his Nana Bridget’s (McDermott) house in Knocklough, Oldcastle, today from 6pm to 10pm. The house will be strictly private at all other times.
Darren's funeral mass will take place in St Brigid’s Church, Oldcastle on Saturday at 12noon, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
