Rathregan's Evan Curley keeps his eye on the ball as Rathmores Odhran Daly closes in during the Cumann na mBunscol Division 4 hurling final at Trim

Rathregan NS 4-9 Rathmore NS 0-1

This was the first year in a long time that Rathregan NS took part in Allianz Meath Cumann na mBunscol hurling and what a wise decision it was to enter this very talented squad in to the Division 4 competition. To view photos click here

Rathmore had already beaten Rathregan in the group stages but last Saturday was not their day as the team in Blue and Yellow totally dominated.

The winners led by 0-5 to 0-1 at the break but really took over in the second half and with goals from Shea Brady (2), Lily Delany and Sean O'Neill they ran out comfortable winners.

After the game Rathregan captain Sean O'Neill was presented with the Division 4 hurling cup by Eamon Ferry.
