Wolfe Tones 8-16, St. Michaels/Nobber 1-06      

The St. Michaels / Nobber combination went down heavily to an impressive Wolfe Tones side in Gibstown on Saturday morning last.

The home side built up a 2-9 to 1-2 half time lead with the losers goal coming just before the interval from the boot of Cian McFadden from the penalty spot. Lorcan McEntee added the two points. The Wolfe Tones goals came in the 10th and 27th minutes.

The Wolfe Tones lads continued to dominate the exchanges in the second period adding a further 6 majors.
