Ballivor were the big winners over the weekend

The curtain came down on 'the club month' with the conclusion of round 2 of the Meath football championship. Round 3 is expected to get underway on July 29th as per the official fixture planner.

It was a weekend of upsets. Favourites Skryne, Wolfe Tones, Simonstown, Gaeil Colmcille, Syddan, St. Michaels, Duleek Bellewstown and Bective all lost in the senior and intermediate grades. Ballivor hit a massive 7-23 while favourites Carnaross and Moylagh continue to impress in the Junior A grade.
