Richard Brady presents the Peter Brady Hall of Fame Shield to Seán Rennicks

St Ultans celebrated their 2017 Awards Night last Friday 16th in the Silver Tankard.

The big winner on the night was "Black" Seán Rennicks who was inducted into the St Ultans Hall of Fame.

Seán Ó Hoireabhárd walked away with player of the year while Marin Dolan won young player of the year, Jack Murray won second team player and Ger Brennan won Clubman of the Year.

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to acknowledge Seán Rennicks' achievements on and off the field. He has been an excellent servant to the GAA in our locality. As a player he left it all out on the pitch and now he rarely misses a first or second team game. We are honoured to give him this award", said club secretary DJ Ball.

St Ultans focus will now shift towards continuing their successful start to the league and the first round of the Championship, which is a repeat of last year, against Walterstown.
