B FL Div 5: Drumbaragh come out on top again

Drumbaragh 1-9 Ballinabrackey 0-9

This was renewal of last year's Division 6 final played and once again Drumbaragh came out on top with a fine team performance in Dunganny.

The game was tied up at three points each after the first twenty minutes. The impressive DJ Carry got all the winners opening scores. Before the half ended Gary McCormick struck over 2 lovely points and Conor Lynch scoring a long distance free to leave Drumbaragh 0-6 to 0-3 up at the break. 

Ballinabrackey hit 3 points in the first 15mins of the second half to leave the sides level. On 17mins Daragh Power who came on for his Emmets debut for the injured Conor Lynch with his first touch his shot from 25 yards out to hit the back of the Bracks net to put Drumbaragh 3 points up. Kyle Dardis kicked over two great frees while veteran John Madden also got in on the scoring act. Ballinabrackey hit back with 3 late points but Drumbaragh defence stood tall to deny Balinabrackey any goal chance and emerge with a three point victory.
