Tipperary have received a boost with the return of Steven O'Brien at midfield for Saturday's visit of Meath to Thurles.

O'Brien was forced to sit out the 0-11 apiece draw against Clare because of injury but with the help of an extra week's break, the Ballina clubman is passed fit to face the Royals in their Allianz FL clash.

Manager Liam Kearns has made just the one change from the Ennis stalemate as injury now rules out youngster Jack Kennedy.

2018 UCD Sigerson Cup winners Jimmy Feehan and Liam Casey line out at wing-back and midfield, respectively.

Tipperary (Allianz FL v Meath): Evan Comerford; Shane O'Connell, John Meagher, Alan Campbell; Bill Maher, Robbie Kiely, Jimmy Feehan; Liam Casey, Steven O'Brien; Liam Boland, Josh Keane, Brian Fox; Conor Sweeney, Michael Quinlivan, Liam McGrath.

Subs: Ciaran Kenrick, Kevin Fahey, Kevin O'Halloran, George Hannigan, Paddy Codd, Colm O'Shaughnessy, Luke Boland, Ian Fahey, Liam Treacy, Sean Carey, Stephen Murray.
