Dunshaughlin club notes
December 12, 2017The numbers drawn in the Dunshaughlin GAA lotto were 6, 12, 17 & 20 and we had one jackpot winner, Tara Maloney who wins €5,800, just in time for Christmas. We had three match three winners, Hugh McCarthy, Sally Coffey and Sinead Cottrell.
Rúnaí, Rúnaí, Rúnaí
On Sunday last, Everton fans, including Simon Farrell sang Rooney, Rooney, Rooney as Wayne scored the equaliser against Liverpool. Last night, however, Dunshaughlin fans were singing the same thing.....with a different meaning of course. Mairead Delaney was elected as Rúnaí of the Meath County Board. The first time a woman will hold this position. It's a testament to the hard work Mairead has put in over the years at both club and county level. It is richly deserved and we'd like to wish Mairead all the best.
