The late Ger Craddock
The death has occurred of Gerard Craddock, Shrule. He is mourned by his nephews Malachy Flanagan, Kilmaine, the Craddock family, Shrule Padraic, John, Dominick and Gerard, and nieces Mary Ann and Delia.
The late Gerard dedicated his life to the drapery business and ran his shop with much expertise. He played football with Shrule and was much to the fore on the victorious team in 1936. He also played with the Mayo Minors. Gerard was an avid racegoer and was no stranger at the greyhound track having owned greyhounds. His love of walking kept him agile and in touch with nature.
His remains were in repose at Craddock's Funeral Home, Shrule with removal to St Joseph's Church, Shrule. Burial took place in Shrule cemetery after requiem mass. May he rest in peace.
