Aidan O'Shea has been appointed Mayo senior football captain for the remainder of the year.
The three-time All Star, who has made over 130 appearances for the county, succeeds Diarmuid O'Connor in the role.
O'Shea's first game as captain will be against Kerry in Castlebar next Saturday night when Mayo will be aiming to bounce back from today's nine-point loss to Monaghan in Clones.
