A Mayo referee has been hailed for his classy gesture following an underage game in Swinford last night.
Neil Cooney took charge of the U14 Division 2 league final between Kiltimagh and Breaffy during which two players suffered serious injuries in accidental circumstances.
With broken collarbones, the injured pair were taken to hospital where afterwards they were delivered a McDonald's by none other than referee Neil Cooney!
We wish a speedy recovery to the injured players and well done to Neil for his act of kindness.
