CORK have made three changes in personnel for Saturday’s crucial Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 clash with Donegal at Páirc Uí Rinn (12.0).

The Cork ladies will appear alongside their male counterparts on another double-bill at the city venue – and Ephie Fitzgerald’s charges could do with the points.

Cork are currently fourth in the Division 1 standings – with four semi-final places on offer at the end of the group stages.

Visitors Donegal can book a slot in the last four with a victory, as they aim to preserve a 100 per cent record after four outings.

From the team that started for Cork against Monaghan last time out, goalkeeper Martina O’Brien is back in, while there are starting berths too for Laura O’Mahony and Eimear Scally, who captained University of Limerick to Gourmet Food Parlour O’Connor Cup glory last weekend.

Meabh Cahalane and Libby Coppinger drop out of the Cork team while Donegal also make three changes to the team that accounted for Tipperary in Round 4.

Anna Marie McGlynn, Evelyn McGinley and Nicole Gordon come into the starting line-up in place of Tara Hegarty, Niamh Hegarty and Geraldine McLaughlin, for a game that will be streamed LIVE on the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/LadiesGaelicFootball/

This is also the first competitive meeting between the two counties since Cork won the 2018 TG4 All-Ireland Senior semi-final.

There are two other Division 1 fixtures on Saturday, with Dublin entertaining Monaghan at DCU St Clare’s (5.0), while Tipperary are at home to Galway in Bansha at the same time.

NFL Division 1 champions Dublin have made nine changes to the team that won against Westmeath in Round 4, as the Sky Blues chase a fourth straight victory and continue to rotate.

Goalkeeper Rachel Fleming, Martha Byrne, Sinead Goldrick, Jennifer Dunne, Siobhan McGrath, Hannah O’Neill, Lyndsey Davey, Niamh Hetherton and captain Sinéad Aherne are named in the starting line-up, and they replace Ciara Trant, Niamh Collins, Emma McDonagh, Aoife Kane, Carla Rowe, Éabha Rutledge, Nicole Owens, Kate Sullivan and Oonagh Whyte.

Monaghan, without a single point and bottom of the standings, have made just one change in personnel to the team well beaten by Cork last time out, with Abbie McCarey coming in for Lisa Flynn.

Tipperary boss Shane Ronayne has made five changes in personnel following the Round 4 defeat to Donegal.

Lucy Spillane, Elaine Fitzpatrick, Caitlin Kennedy, Angela McGuigan and Ava Fennessy earn starts, with Emma Buckley, Laura Dillon, Roisin McGrath, Roisin Daly and Sarah Everard replaced.

Visitors Galway, who are also carrying a 100 per cent record, make just one change, with Dearbhla Gower in for Lisa Murphy between the sticks.

There’s one game on Sunday as Westmeath entertain Mayo at Cusack Park in Mullingar (2.0).

Jess Hennessy replaces Sarah Dillon in the Westmeath team while Mayo have made four changes following their Connacht derby loss to Galway.

Laura Brennan is in for Sorcha Murphy in goal, while Kathryn Sullivan, Ciara McManamon and Tamara O’Connor start further out the field in place of Nicola Meehan, Roisin Durkin and Amy Roddy.
