James Horan will have to plan without the services of Seamus O’Shea for the remainder of their Allianz FL Division 1 campaign.

RTE.ie reports that an ankle injury means the Breaffy midfielder will miss the upcoming games against Kerry and Monaghan.

He would also miss a possible league final appearance.

Better news for Mayo supporters is that Ger Cafferkey and Paddy Durcan, who were both absent for last Saturday’s defeat to Galway, are expected to return for the trip to the Kingdom on Saturday week.

Forwards Evan Regan and Cillian O’Connor, who has yet to feature in this year’s campaign, could also come into the reckoning for the must-win game against the league leaders.
