HL top scorers: Kildare star at the summit

The 2019 Allianz Hurling League scoring charts.

Kildare's Brian Byrne is the 2019 Allianz Hurling League top scorer after two rounds.

The Lilywhites have hit the ground running in Division 2B under new boss David Herity and last year's Christy Ring Cup winning captain scored an eye-watering 3-14 to help the Lilywhites to a record 37-point victory over Warwickshire in the second round.

The Naas man has 4-19 (31) to his name overall while Waterford's Stephen Bennett is his closest rival on 0-28.
