Last Friday was pretty hectic for rising Mayo football star Cathal Horan.
A member of the Mayo U20 team that reached this year's All-Ireland final, Horan was among the attendees at the AFL European Combine in UCD on Friday afternoon, which was overseen by former Down and Collingwood star Marty Clarke. He then travelled over 200km to Aghamore where he lined out at centre back for St Nathy's in their Mayo U21FC semi-final against Claremorris.
However, there was disappointment for the Kilmovee Shamrocks / Ballaghaderreen combination who lost on a 2-4 to 0-12 scoreline.
