Clare, Limerick, Kilkenny and Galway are well represented on our hurling team of the week…
1. Eoin Murphy (Kilkenny)
The Cats netminder and his team-mates will be out for revenge when they renew rivalry with Galway in the Leinster SHC decider.
2. Cian O'Callaghan (Dublin)
Players of the calibre of O'Callaghan will be key if Dublin are to make progress under Pat Gilroy's stewardship in the future.
3. Padraig Walsh (Kilkenny)
Exerted a big influence on proceedings during the second-half of the Cats' 0-22 to 1-18 victory over the Model County.
4. David McInerney (Clare)
McInerney and Clare timed their run to perfection to get the better of Tipperary in Cusack Park.
5. Paudie Foley (Wexford)
Foley can consider himself unlucky to have finished up on the losing side as his frequent forays forward caused plenty of problems for Brian Cody's side.
6. Declan Hannon (Limerick)
The Limerick captain led by example as John Kiely's team showed no mercy to Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds.
7. Padraic Mannion (Galway)
Mannion continued his rich vein of form against Dublin when contributing three points to his side's winning tally of 0-26.
8. Rian McBride (Dublin)
The St Vincent's clubman's massive effort proved to be in vain as they were caught on the line by the All-Ireland champions.
9. Cian Lynch (Limerick)
The Patrickswell player sent over three points in the Treaty County's 13-point victory over the Deise.
10. Peter Duggan (Clare)
The Banner County sent Tipperary packing from this year's championship and Duggan was the star of the show with a return of 0-15.
11. Kyle Hayes (Limerick)
Hayes and his forward colleagues enjoyed the freedom of the Gaelic Grounds and punched numerous holes in Waterford's defence.
12. TJ Reid (Kilkenny)
When their backs were very much against the wall, Reid helped to inspire a second-half comeback which edged Kilkenny over the line.
13. Podge Collins (Clare)
The former All-Star came off the bench and made a big impact when scoring three points against Tipp as well as playing a part in the build-up to Ian Galvin's goal.
14. Shane Dowling (Limerick)
Got the nod to replace the suspended Aaron Gillane and the Na Piarsaigh repaid his manager's faith in him with 0-15.
15. Jason Flynn (Galway)
Along with his full-forward line colleague Conor Whelan, Flynn posed plenty of problems for the Dublin defence and finished as his team's top scorer with 0-11 (9 frees).
