Mayo manager Stephen Rochford admitted his team lost its discipline during yesterday's 0-11 to 1-13 Division 1 defeat to Galway.

"We're very disappointed, but the reality is that we weren't at the pitch of it in any shape, way or form," he pointed out to The Western People

"That was probably borne out of frustration more than anything else. We lost our discipline and that's something we have to look at."

Commenting on the incident that resulted in Cillian O'Connor being shown a red card that means he will be suspended for the upcoming Dublin clash, Rochford said he had no qualms with referee Anthony Nolan's decision.

"I don't think so. I didn't get a full glimpse of it but I'm led to believe that he sort of used a shoulder in there.

"Look, Fergal Kelly the linesman was on the spot and you've got to trust the officials in that sense."
