Dermot Butler has been elected the new secretary of Mayo GAA County Board.

The Crossmolina Deel Rovers clubman, who was the outgoing Assistant Secretary, will take over from Vincent Neary after getting the better of Ronan Kirrane (Davitts GAA) in a vote at today's convention in Westport.

There was consolation for Kirrane, however, when he was elected unopposed to the role of Assistant Secretary.

Otherwise, it's as you were at the top table.

Despite spending a whopping €1,123,995 on their senior football team, the accounts showed a surplus of €203,275. Income came in at €3,333,824 while expenditure was €3,130,549.
