Yep I would love to do a list of Louth players who senior championships not just in Dublin but in other counties like super Stefan White with Castleblaney.

2006 Judgie was also part of the Louth panel. He made his breakthrough a year later. He scored some great points against Cork down in Portlaoise in the quailfers.

Thanks Ollie. You are a mine of information.I'm delighted Shane has a senior club medal. He deserves it. I remember in 2006 everyone including Pats supporters were happy that the great Stephen Melia won his senior medal.

Greengrass he did indeed. He scored 2 or 3 points against Kildare. What I remember in that game was Louth were leading by 3points and Kildare were chasing down the lead. Up steps King Keenan to score a well taken goal in the town end in Newbridge to steady the Louth ship. By god wee will miss him.

We certainly will. A rocket in to the top left hand corner of the Kildare net.

Interesting results in last nights semis

Dreadnots 0-12 Mattock 0-14
St.Pats 1-14 SOM 2-11

The repeat of the senior final in Lordship had everything. SOM clapping Pats on to field, great scores ,hard hitting, cards of all colours seven minutes overtime in second half,SOM five up with five minutes to go,Pats down to 14,Aidan McCann scores goal to equalise in last half minute, extra time, SOM two up, Pats go ahead,SOM equalise with last kick of extra time. Roll on the replay.

Interesting to read the mails on this forum from last year.. Some things never change

So looks like the leagues wont be finished until nearly November again!

The Gaels have been waiting about 6/7 weeks since their last game and have to wait at least another 2!

All good playing off the early rounds ASAP, why not get the whole thing finished before the Championship!

Someone needs to speak up at the County Board meetings

Don't know why it's back out in Lordship . One major incident in the game. Other than that it was a cracking game played with great intensity .
