Punishment for laois training when they shouldn't have been. If we had a good county ground it wouldn't have been a great punishment but hey it was a great day out.

I fairness didnt see this coming. Fair play to team and management. However this puts the Longford game in perspective. I will say that maybe this team needs a good pitch to play like they did yesterday.

What a win and what a performance by the Wee County. I went up to Croke Park yesterday more in hope than anything else. It's always great to win up in headquarters. I was out earlier on my usual Sunday stroll after mass and I seen the Snapper doing a bit of fishing on the Meath side of the Boyne. He did not look too happy with Louth winning yesterday.

Or does it highlight that the players and management are constantly trying their best but they can't win everything. While the majority of people in Louth take more enjoyment and are so quick to cut the ankles of their own when they are stumbling rather than help them stay on their feet.
Well done yesterday lads hard work pays off hope yous enjoyed the experience.
We as a county need to reprogramme how we "support" our own.

Well said WheresDeBallBag, I think we as supporters have to 1. Be realistic 2. Use this platform to help rather than hinder the County. So easy to have a negative outlook .. We all accept how far behind we are. But I think we now have something to believe in .. New Stadium on the horizon, and a Manager who has served his apprenticeship with underage squads , Knows the players in the county.. so give him and the players a bit of real support.

Total BS lads.
Louth underperformed against Longford who were minus 15 players. There were there for the taking and we blew it. I dont think anyone on here is overly negative towards the team but if you are old enough you are good enough and players must take more responsibility for their actions. And yes sometimes your best it just not good enough. Much better yesterday and roll on next Sunday.

I said it in Friday, we can always produce the goods against Laois and that's what happened

A lot has to be said about playing on a good pitch as the young guns can play. Fair play to Wayne and the lads as the game plan was perfect and we opened Laois up time and time again and to a man they give it all
The one big disappointment is the support for the lads.

Come on Louth Gaels let's give this group the support they deserve

Great to see Tommy Durnin on team of the week. Fair play to him for bouncing back so well after the frustration of the previous week
