I don't think too many would feel sorry for them. Plenty of potential in a big area yet they operate like a small rural club. Two best teams in the Final no surprise.

Any sign of a venue / time for the final?

8 days out from a championship final with no time or venue confirmed is a joke.

Who do people think will get the job done on Sunday?
Young Irelands play a sort of defensive system while Glyde tend to play man for man. I think Glyde may have a physical edge on Sunday.
It should be a cracker!!!

I agree with the two previous posters. It's gonna be a close one and a cracker. I would love to see Derek Maguire win a championship medal for DYI. A great servant for both club and county. I will just go with Glyde to shade it. Niall Sharkey and Gareth Moran are the two main men for the Tallanstown men. Niall Sharkey has scored six goals so far in the Championship this year and has scored in every championship match. He would be worth a few bob to score again tomorrow.

Derek already has a intermediate medal if my memory serves me right. Won in Ardee ?
Glyde players has very little to show and some of them would've soldiered in senior for years

I fancy DYI anyways they have a know how to games this year and I see them getting the job done. Tight game and good luck to both teams and hopefully nice day for it.

you are correct. Derek has a junior medal from 2007 and won the IFC a few years after that.

Peter Nixon will be lining out tomorrow in his 2nd junior final. he also played in an intermediate final with the club as well as a minor final against the Geraldines and in a senior final with the O'Mahonys. not many people can say that!
